Welcome to our site! Our school is conveniently located between the 101, Price and Warner roads in Chandler. Applications are being accepted for the 2010-2011 school year. Updates are added throughout the year with special events, field trip adventures, and photos of some of our favorite classroom activities.
Sheila's Christian Academy "Minds in Motion" has been in operation since 1995. Our unique Montessori school is beautifully set within a lovely home. Class size is kept small; (1) teacher for every (5) students, which provides your child opportunities to foster their curiosity, encourage independence, and challenge them academically.
Our teachers are exceptional! They are dedicated,qualified,and experienced. The lead teacher is certified AMI and has a degree in Early Childhood. She has taught for over 20 years which includes a gifted program and whole language school.
Assistant teachers are mentored by trained and experienced teachers. All teachers are required to pass background checks, carry a current fingerprint clearance card, and are CPR, First Aid trained as required by DHS.
Our school is well established and respected. We have been licensed with the Dept. of Health Services (DHS),and CACFP Food program for the past 15 years and have excellent references.
Anyone interested in receiving dollar for dollar credit on their Arizona State taxes can contact Arizona Christian School Tuition Organization (ACSTO)at www.acsto.com. This money is used strictly for the kindergarten scholarship fund. Contribution maximum amounts for couples is $1,000 per year., singles $500.
